  **i work with a frenchman and i asked him about what "je t' enc" means.
  i explained that we were discussing how some copies of catcher in other
  languages were censored completely or at least the "obscene" phrases were
  toned down.  he laughed at that and explained that "je t' enc" is slang
  and is actually quite harsh - more so than just "fuck you."  according to
  him it means "fuck you up the arse."  interesting.  just thought i'd
  share that with you all. . .
