I haven't been following the discussion too closely lately, so I'm just
going to throw out a question of my own. I don't get what's happening
with the old man in "Pretty Mouth and Green My Eyes." The old man seems
to get irritated after he hangs up the phone, at the end of the story.
This isn't the most developed question. Anyway, I just don't get it.
