Hello,
Narcissistically rereading my previous post, I realize that
I should have attributed the poem which I quoted.
It is the end of "Love Calls Us to Things of This World", by
Richard Wilbur. The entire poem is quoted, along with a wonderful
article in the web page titled "Poetry 1956: A Step Away From Them",
which can be found by a web search on the author's name, Marjorie Perloff,
a film-maker I believe. I'm sorry I don't have the URL.
