Thanks for stating a very relevant point that the original poster might
have missed.  Indeed, it cannot be known easily and probably without
directly asking, what a particular person's race is via the medium of
communication that list serves operate on.  However, that didn't prevent
me from merely stating a skepticism that I had about the demographics of
this list.  In another post, I detail why I had the initial skepticism.
