Yeah, I agree. I wouldn't consider it cynicism, though. More like cause and
effect. I bet when he first wanted to publish it he thought that he had been
underground for so long that people would have forgotten about him and he would
have been able to not draw any attention to himself. Since that wasn't the case
I wouldn't be surprised if he's just tossed it in the ol' vault next to his
other works. Pity.
