'... philosophy ought to be taught to children at a young age,
I think (if done properly) it would really make the entire
education system much more worthwhile ...'

My two sons make their money from writing & teaching
    philosophy.

I made sure that in their childhoods they would be
surrounded by material comfort, emotional support,
amusement, intellectual stimulation & unconditional love.

For years now, they've repaid me with weekly, sometimes
twice-weekly, visits accompanied by their hotshot spouses
& children - to continue an ongoing course in Western
Philosophy for the exclusive benefit of their defenceless father.

It's like having all one's teeth drilled every Sunday evening
    - without anaesthetic.
