Yeah, I think I understood Steven about the same way you did, and I disagree 
with that sentiment.  That's what I was responding to.  It's not **me**.  It 
may be a slice of me at one point in time.  No more than a slice, and not 
necessarily any more than a slice "at a particular moment."  But I prefer to 
emphasize the distance between myself and my work more than the connecting 
points because I think the distance is more significant.
