GOOD point. I guess the greatest works of art are autobiographical for the
human race, you could say. And this (I regret to inform Scottie) is why I
like Jung so much, because it seems undeniable that there *is* a collective
subconscious; that we all share certain signs and symbols that are divorced
from cultural constructs, that a great piece of art transcends language and
becomes another life experience.
