    Sorry, Camille, I've never heard of anticipatory nostalgia.

    The nearest I can suggest is anticipatory *proctalgia*.  
    As you know, proctalgia is the medical name for pain 
    in the ass.  Holden could certainly be expected to suffer 
    from it - that awful impending sense of discomfort 
    in the lower regions as yet another phoney heaves 
    into view - Ackley, Ernie Morrow, all that gentry.

    I'm sure you & I both experience it when downloading 
    the morning's post & recognise certain names & addresses ....
