Hello,
I hope that the quiet time on the list means that everyone is out
enjoying the late fall pre-winter time, even if there is not enough
snow in lower New York for cross-country skiing yet...
I have been crazily busy at work (where I have my computer access)
but enjoy reading whatever you all have to say.
Just apropos of Cecilia's koan posting, I happened to chance on
a URL for back copies of a humorous column called The Straight Dope
by Cecil Adams which appears in a periodical called the Chicago Reader.
It just so *happens* that he has a column on the sound of one
hand clapping which you might enjoy, but I cannot copy it here
