Yo,
As someone who doesn't find smoking repulsive, and as someone who notices
that Paul uses the word "cheers", how come nobody has mentioned how prevalent
smoking is in Europe? And yes, this includes all social classes, not just
fisherfolk. Also, rather than thinking that such imagery is "gross", "yuck",
or god forbid "double yuck", maybe we should be concentrating on what kind of
person puts cigarette stubs in their breast pocket.
