hey bernd, just wanted to let you know that a "grinch" is a mean spirited
little bastard, usually from texas, but not necessarily, who uses his
political influence to win elections.
the more common, dictionary style definition is as follows:
somebody grouchy and contrary who spoils the fun of others (informal)
ebeneezer scrooge is a grinch. so is newt gingrich. yassar arafat, ditto.
the rev ian paisley, yessir! i won't mention names of any former governors
of texas who fit the bill, for fear of reprisal.
