"How the Grinch Stole Christmas," by Dr. Seuss. It's a children's early
reading book. Dr. Seuss always comes up with strange names for the
creature-people he makes. The Grinch is quite like Charles Dicken's
Scrouge. There was a really nicely done animated TV special made of this
years ago (1966, according to amazon.com) that is shown every year on TV.
Also, this year, Jim Carrey stars in a movie about the Grinch.
