Dear Adam,

This seems pretty much the best testimony to urgent need for an
application of Salinger I have ever seen. I have therefore forwarded
all the unpublished stories I have (I think that is most of the ones
available) as you have no doubt noticed! Hopefully they will be as
helpful as the poetry (I think its a Keats lyric) that Buddy put in his
breast pocket to cure his cough (in Seymour, I think). Oops,I seem to
have a lot of 'I think's in this paragraph.

Glad you've disovered the bananafish bowl, we are all very friendly and
a good salve for wounds of the soul.

Welcome to the list. Enjoy the stories!

With love,

Lucy-Ruth
