I get email newsletters from a good bookseller called "Quill & Brush,"
and today's pointed to some Salinger items. They're selling a first
edition of Catcher for $15,000, and a copy of the original
"Uncollected" pirate edition for $1,250. Such a deal!

BTW, this bookseller offers a nice little series of pamphlets on
individual writers, which includes (in each) a bibliography, a
biographical sketch, a facsimile of the writer's signature, and other
details about the body of work. (Yes, they have a brief little
pamphlet on JDS.) Their web site is pretty good, and their service
is prompt. DISCLAIMER: I have no connection with them at all except
as a satisfied customer.

Details follow....
