Well, Scottie, at least you share Robbie's faults in this...and yes, I
was taking issue with your sole contribution -- the obligatory dig at
the teachers. It's off the mark in that they don't all see things the
same way, and that you don't quite understand those who you are
attacking.

But notice I'm responding to a post that was essentially _insulting_ to
an entire profession and you complain about me being _condescending_?

Scottie, someone your age shouldn't be this lacking in self
consciousness. How do you expect me to respond?

I never doubted that you actually worked to read all the posts, though.
It's the work you do to Understand them. And it is work. My prose
could be clear as glass but you'd still have difficulty understanding it
-- because the ideas are foreign. I know because I still have the same
problem myself. I still often read people whose ideas seem at least at
first terribly different from my own.

I do not, however, blame them for _my_ problems.
