Stop being so solicitous Jim. No one is taking obligatory digs at teachers.
If so find the quote. Moreover, the point remains the same- teachers work
best as catalysts and worst as pundits. Read Emile if you have to, Jim. I
maintain students have all the know-how before they begin to crack open a
book by Great Author A and answer the questions asked from a handout
inspired by Insipid Critic B.

far past the age those young folks trust. How do you expect me to expound?

Has anyone else noticed Dr. Jim's perverse quantity of postings? I'm not
sure what to say here, but all indicators point to a person with much spare
time on his hands, or a job that allows a multitude of opportunities for
exposure to ELF rays, and/or a person with a desperate, though heartfelt
desire, for virtual human contact.
