discovered that 'go see eddie' was submitted and
accepted *before* 'the young folks'.

i can easily see him discovering an unnoticed jds
story.

 But to prove 20+ years after the fact that one story
was submitted and accepted before the other must hinge
on some solid documentation. (surely jds did not
confirm the sequence.)

should you ever lay hands on the article, i'd be
curious to know.

(personally, i like the idea of 'the young folks' as
salinger's lst pub.: the title is so apt.)
