Re: eudora welty reviews 'nine stories'

Good words from Welty, indeed, but few reviewers realized that
Salinger's Nine Stories is one of the greatest collections of short
stories by one author. I put it up there with The Dubliners,
O'Connor's Collected Stories, and any collection of short stories by
Hemingway and Raymond Carver as some of the best work in short
fiction--EVER!
