What's the deal with 'De Daumier-Smith's Blue Period', as far as I can tell
he has some sort of Zen born again experience? He am definetly not getting
something in this story since I like it quite a bit but a stong sense of
missing something crucial.

John,
reespect smecht,
a pen, a pencil, a sword whatever cuts the mustard. Actually on second
thought my dad always said (quite literally) 'respect your tools, they put
meat on the table.' and Thoreau or Emerson advised the reader to always
return the borrowed axe sharper than you got it.

Dear Mr. Stonewash,

p.s. I wrote this message while intoxicated, but you won't find me misusing
'though' with 'tough' I have too much respect for the written world and too
little for my liver.

Yours,
