The banalities of life, true joy, (no sarcasm)

We just had our Squadron potluck, 14 shops with 14 spreads of food.
Everything from Jamabalyla to tamales, turkey and ham to mustard greens were
laid out. Desserts, drinks, and snacks are everywhere. Beer, spiced cider
and spiced wine, water and coke to wash it all down. Grazing from one shop
to the next I find, relaxed polite banter, a ribald viewing of _Jack Ass_,
in another a boisterous game of dominoes, chess, and cards. I love my job,
I work with a great bunch of people. I am blessed.

Well, I will be incommunicado for a few days so Happy Holidays all. To
Scottie I wish a very happy nativity to you (if you still take note of
birthdays) and well for me...

I'm headed down the trail to Albuquerque
Saddlebags are packed with beans and jerky
K circle B in Albuquerque...

Daniel

Hopefully as much as we enjoy when literary types do their jobs.
