In the name of authorial intent let me fix that last post. Too many meals,
too many friends, too many miles, and not enough sleep so reread.
The Yojimbo who started it all with his "Happy Holidays", has returned from
his beloved New Mexico and a fine time with the Familia. It is ironic,
since I am a Christian, a Jew (by heredity), and Spanish but I don't keep
Christmas (but I'll gladly eat an offered meal) that my flaccid greeting
stirred up Scotties soul.
Happy Holidays, smappy holidays, Ol'Scottie can be as caustic as he likes
but if we were standing in the same room and he said something (like he did)
and if I took great offense, I would do a very New Mexican thing, I would
kick his ass and then invite him over for some of my Mom's Posole on
Christmas
eve.
This is only a list and I didn't take offense but I'll gladly pitch in for a
ticket for Will and I have a bottle of Tequila for afterwards.
