There are, increasingly, internet providers that offer spam blocking
services. They work imperfectly, of course, but they work.

One thing that helps a great deal is making sure your e-mail address
isn't accessible on any webpage. That way search engines can't search
the pages and get your address. Or, if your e-mail address is on a
webpage, make sure it's in the form of "scottie(at)bowman.org" --
leaving the @ symbol out makes it a little bit more difficult for the
name to be identified as an e-mail address.

I wonder if our e-mail addresses are on the b-fish archive? And if it'd
be a hard thing to do a find and replace the @ with "at"?
