I wasn't paying attention to that at all.I was making a bit of a joke about
when(I think Franny or maybe Boo Boo)says that one of Buddy's stories is "too
clever."And Seymour says that(something like this)"Buddy's cleverness is his
true quality and his voice and that it doesn't hurt anything at all."Your poem
didn't have much to do with that exactly.I liked it.I just didn't want to tell
you that it was beautiful or whatever when I wasn't really feeling like
that.That's just what I thought of.
