I'd say that its EXTREMELLY hard for a person on this path to ever find ultimate peace and happiness, if not impossible. Seymour realized this...he ate too many dern bananas. Both Seymour and Antolini gave valiant efforts (guessing here on Antolini) at living while seeing more. If Holden could do so, I'd be proud of him. Thats all I was saying...On the other side of the coin, Holden is also a likely candidate for a mental institution if he doesn't get his act together. He still has to learn all about the Fat Lady, which I think helped both Seymour and Antolini throughout their lives.
