Woolf/Salinger comparison

Woolf is another one of my favorite authors and I think you are right on
about what make her and JDS similar. They are both just so damn
charming. At the end of _Room of One's Own_ I felt haunted by Virginia's
ghost. She was with me in ways that writers usually aren't. I could even
feel her as I roamed through Bloomsbury and Hyde Park last spring. I
feel the same way about Buddy Glass. When I am done reading "Raise
High..." I can taste Tom Collins on my lips.
