You "get it," it seems, and thats what we >have the 138 web site for. > >http://members.aol.com/fluxis/werk831.html > >-eryk and 138 > I haven't got time tonight to give it a full look, but it seems very confusing and very interesting. To (more or less) quote Dave Matthews, the only really good thing about the Internet is that "it's the first time in this century that anarchy has really had a chance to flourish." I used to be an enthusiast of anarchy, in my younger days (I'm now a very ripe 20 years old)--but more recently I've decided that, instead of tearing down society, I'd rather just ignore it and get on happily with my girlfriend. I still support anyone who seeks anarchy for themselves, though. In my view, anyone who would break the Law in order to preserve their own Morality is an anarchist, and that's a very noble thing to do. After reading 1984, where Winston breaks after a couple days of torture, I'm not sure I could really call myself an anarchist of my own definition. The place I visited on you site that I really liked was the graffiti quotes. Being a writer, and a reluctant some-times poet (pushed to it by my creative writing professor), I love a good couple of words. Putting two or three words together so they ring beautifully and satirically is a fine art. It's the reason (er, one of them) that Ginsberg was so brilliant--and it's also the only reason to read Jim Morrison's poetry. I'm in the process (still at the stage called "Penniless and Dreaming") of building a recording studio, which I would love to call--in blinking neon above the door--"VIVA SUBURBIA", a phrase that I nicked from the Washington CityPaper (D.C.). I'll give your site another look when I've more time. In the meantime, you should check out www.radiohead.com If you don't like their music (which would be your loss), it's still a lovely bit of avant-garde on the ol' Net. Also, consider this for Anarchy's sake. It's an idea I came up with in a dream, but since I have no knowledge of programming, I've no way to set it in motion. Engineer a virus onto an ATM card, and inject it through the ATM onto the International Banking Network. Poverty is the great equalizer. It's perfect communism, and perfect anarchy. Anarchy would be a great idea if everyone was nice to each other, but until then, I'll keep myself happy discussing Muriel Glass on Bananafish and being in love with my girlfriend.
