Hi again everyone!
I just wanted to let everyone know about some of the changes to the Bananafish
web page.
First, I've added some new features you all might be interested in:
Full-text search of the web page! I figured out how to do full-text search
with Concentric's provided CGI scripts (not an easy task) and now offer this
on the page. I also re-did the mailing list search form a bit and added it
to the search page. So from one page, you can search the Bananafish web pages

Vote to rank the Salinger stories! I created a simple "voting booth" page
where visitors can rate the stories. I'll use the output to add reader
ratings to the stories on the other pages. I think this will help people to
know which of the magazine stories are worth looking up. Please take a minute

Be notified of web site changes! You can add yourself to NetMind's web
update notification service and it will let you know when the Bananafish
pages are updated. Or you can just check on the what's new page for the

I've also updated some information around the site. I think I finally have
publication data for all the magazine appearances of Salinger's stories on
the magazine page. I also added quotes for all the under-published stories.
I'd like to pick up the FAQ and put it on the site, too. Can anyone point
me to the latest version? Would you all mind if I add some info to it and
add it to the Bananafish pages?
