'...did we decide on a time for the 30th dec ?...' If there are no funny leaves on the line between Cork & Dublin & if Iaranrod Eireann manages to surmount its reputation for tempramental behaviour we (my keeper & I) should be in Davy's sometime shortly after noon. (I only suggest this early hour, considering the season that's in it & remembering how crowded it used to get - forty years ago - by 12.30) We are both incredibly well preserved, if miniature, seventy-year olds: she still beautiful & myself wearing the remains of what the late Florrie Donoghue once called 'that eighteenth century face.' I think I'll bring a copy of the Catcher to flash in case mutual recognition isn't instantaneous. Scottie B.
