Congratulations, Ellen!  It's time for me to renew my subscription, and I
can only say to those of us on the list who are writers -- at whatever
level -- that if you can afford a modest subscription, it's always a decent
way to support your fellow writers and their editors and publishers.  And
"Bananafish" (the magazine) is certainly affordable enough that it's well
worth the money spent.  Unlike many other lit magazines, it doesn't simply
offer the same writers you see everywhere else, which is refreshing AND
encouraging.
