My prof in Creative Writing (who actually, several semesters ago, 
introduced 
me to Salinger via APDFB) accidentally xeroxed it minus the last 3 
pages just a couple days ago.....

i have a feeling a lot of first-time-readers are in for a letdown when 
they finish the story, hehehe

my girlfriend just recently read the story for the first time and she 
posed me the question "so why did Seymour" commit suicide.

i have a couple theories i'll chime in later, but what do you all think?
