        Hmm..  I don't see that many other people, locally I mean,
interrested in Salinger-esque material.  I'm probably in the wrong spot.  I
suppose, I look at these texts as some kind of bestowing or bequeathing unto
me a large responsibility, which I cannot possibly uphold.  I guess I'm
wondering, If someone on this list lives on a secluded reef where schools of
Bananafish have been spotted by drunk fisherman and innocent girls.  I mean,
How many of us are seventeen and researching?  (Curious word, that
'researching,' especially with the preffix.)  The idea that there's a new
wave of Bananafish coming in makes me uneasy and ecstatic..  -jared
