So this page has no connection to the mailing list?  If I were you I sure 
would try to get disassociated with it as fast as you can, seeing how 
strongly you feel about copyright issues.

And you don't do ALL you can to respect the writer's wishes. I think there 
seems to be good reason to think that Salinger would not want any information 
at all about himself on the Internet. Or mailing list messages archived  on 
the Internet. So, you pick and choose which wishes you choose to respect.

means not trading or posting online copies of his work >>
