And not to be totally mysoginistic(spelling? lol), but
maybe he didn't want his daughter to turn out like his
wife. And that's why he had those crazy outburts at
dinner where he tried to expose the corruptions of the
world(at least in his eyes) to his daughter while she
could still do something about it. And when he says
she better be careful or she'll "turn out like a bitch
like your Mother", that he really meant just that?
