It occurs to me that no one ever answered Louise's question about who this
Camille was.
Well, she had been on the list for quite some time until recently. She's an
Aussie in her early to mid 20s and is quite a precocious youth, at that,
having written and directed plays, published short stories, etc. She has a
website and I can dig up the URL for you if you really want to know.
But she was a bratty sort and wasn't anything as much as she made herself out
to be. Had a self-important strain to her...but no, that's not so much it.
More like self-absorbed. You get the feeling that if you were to take her
out, she'd talk your ear off. And resent you for trying to talk yourself.
Her writing has all those qualities too.
She could be attractive, but her hair is this natty, kinky, weird stuff that
shoots all over the place. It lends her a brillo sort of quality. Her nose
is along the lines of Barbara Streisand...a loooong way along those lines, in
fact.
Course, I'd never say anything of this if I believed for a single minute that
you were her...
