Hi,

After lurking around the archives for an hour or so I've just joined your list. I'm in the midst of rediscovering Salinger again, and am again imensely impressed with his work. His understanding of the implications of spirtuality in the modern world, especially eastern approachs, and the way he captures that in his stories is so inspiring. And he was writing this over 50 years ago.

But I'm obviously just preaching to the choir here though.

What I wanted to ask was what you all think happens at the end of the story Teddy? I remembered having read the story many years ago and had a memory of what happened in the ending but on this reading it seemed a little more mysterious to me, a little less certain.

So, what do you think about the End of Teddy?

Love,
Madhava
