Greetings and salutations!

My first exposure to Salinger was Catcher In The Rye, during my junior year
in high school. I loved it, perhaps because I had heard SO much about it
BEFORE I read it and that it was my first exposure to Salinger's work.

Last year, my mother bought me a copy of Nine Stories off of Amazon. APDFB is
my all-time favorite story, and DDSBP had me laughing out loud and ruminating
for days on end. Did anyone else read Salingers stories on e aafter the
other? It seems as though I read Nine Stories, then HAD to find out about F&Z,
while S:AI followed and finally RHTRBC.

BTW, I am currently re-reading RHTRBC and have an addendum to that "Feet"
thread. I know its a little late but I saw someone's note on Seymour's feet
getting stomped on by that girl during the radio programs whenever he did
well (which I'm guessing was most of the time) and it got me thinking...When
the Matron-of-Honor asks Buddy what his brother does for a living he replies
a "chiropodist"!
