Though I don't agree with his progression of the 9 stories, I do
like his readings and still believe he has covered Salinger as well as any
reader to
date...will-------------------------------------------------------------
I liked his two books on Salinger ,JDS and revisited, but like you I can't
see the progression theory of Nine Stories arrangement.
