Since I'm on record here, one of the Yoshoto's has been moaning that I give
top billing also for two other favorites. Since the moaning can be a trifle
distracting I present my top three Salinger pieces.

 De Daumier-Smith's Blue Period, The Catcher in the Rye, and For Esme with
Love and Squalor.

 Not that anyone cares, but maybe now I can get some peace and quiet.
