Jim shouted:
<< You Fucking Morons.

"To generalize is to be an idiot"

- --William Blake.

I talk Seymour, you hear group. Unplug thine ears. >>

Lighten up, deputy.

We heard you the first time. And the second, and the third, and the
fourth. . .

Look:
Seymour X and Seymour Y exist in parallel universes. Everything is
always exactly the some except for one tiny little variable. We'll call
it variable Z. Variable Z, be it a chemical imbalance, a short burst of
really bad luck, a bull-bitch hangover, or whatever, has made death
easier than life for Seymour Y. So Seymour Y offs himself, and Seymour
X does not.

Both of them did what was easier. Both of them took the path of least
resistance. Both of them took "the easy way out." But one killed
himself and the other didn't. And somebody comes along and calls one of
them a coward (which - in case you didn't hear me before - is, like
"stupid," "jackass," and "Fucking Moron," an insult, not a motive).

We are constantly making decisions about what to do and what not to do.
Whatever we decide to do - eat, drink, sleep, excercise, go to college,
kill ourselves - we do because we feel it is the best decision at that
instant in time. Consciously or not, we weigh the pros and cons, the
costs and benefits, and we do what's best for us. This is called
rational behavior. We all take the path of least resistance. None of
us take the harder path if we don't get justly compensated - to do so
would be irrational.

Since we're talking about Seymour (as you've so aptly pointed out), we
can make some stab at variable Z, or we can just call him a Fucking
Moron - or a coward, as the case may be.

Yours,

-robbie
