In my neck of the woods, somebody who makes statements like that usually
meets a guy named Pauley around the next dark streetcorner. Pauley's a
wiseguy from out west of Maxwell Street whose main talent is supplying
custom-fitting cement shoes for bedtime.
I suppose that if I were to say that it might be time for a kinder,
gentler list, I might be ignored, but I thought I might make the effort.
