sounds to me like your assessment of stereotypes being "based on a foundation
of crap" is a rather debateble topic in itself-- and to tell you the truth
your personal feelings regarding how you 'personally' view the definiton of
stereotypes has nothing to do with the conversation at hand.. it just propels
us into an entirely different debate..

(and anyway, aren't "cultural TRAITS"--as you call them-- simply stereotypes
made soiologists???!!) Touche.
