First of all, my stupid computer is sending back most of my messages and saying that
they can't be delivered for some reason. Anyone know why?
        Also, I think everyone is a sycophant. Not all the time or anything, but
sometimes. YOu can't get away from it-you try and all, but it's impossible. Like, if
Salinger wasn't a sycophant or whatever at SOME point in his life, he wouldn't have ever
attempted to have anything published, in which case none of us would have read The
Catcher in the Rye and Franny and Zooey and all that. Some sycophants don't even
realize that they ARE sycophants, and they're the ones that kill me.
        Whoever said they had a copy of that letter Salinger wrote to Hemmingway, could
it be e-mailed to me? Or is that against the rules or something?
