scott, I think publishing a story is EXCELLENT...salinger himself
submitted but withdrew from a few less than literary rags...and if yours
got $, then in my eyes, that makes you a pro!
Maybe not the pov you'd expect from a poet & professor, but if you want to
get read (and email response!) and it's a story I can forward to my
fiction creative writing class at the u of southern colorado, then send it
on. Anyone who got his own "22" got my respect! will
