Greetings:

My name is Alphonse and I enjoy reading Salinger's stories and novellas. Don't
care for Holden Caulfield but love dearly the Glass family. I thought I should
mention to yall that NPR's new popular culture programme on Saturday,
"Anthem", will have a piece on J.D. Salinger this coming week-end. The show is
very new, only four weeks old, and many public radio outlets may not carry it
yet--but check with your local public radio station. I've been working with
the producer on the story and helping her to outline it. One of the people we
are interviewing today for the Salinger show is the writer William Kennedy who
will talk about the Forties and writers like J.D.

I'm normally a lurker so I shall return to that customary role.
