Reading through CITR on a camping trip, noticed a few things.

1.  Holden says "I swear to God, if I were a piano player or actor or
something and all those dopes thought I was terrific, I'd hate it."  A
little message to us b-fishers.

2.  Luce, a model for Lane Coutell, is dating a Late thirtysomething
Chinese sculptress.  Holden is fascinated and asks "You like em that old?"
But Holden was sexually attracted to Morrow's mom.  An insonsistancy or
not?

3. Ackley's room mate changes names in the early bit.  It changes from
"Herb Gale" to "Ely".  What's up with this? Old Jerry didn't read over his
work?

Not on CITR but, I keep seeing "Ocean's 11" and keep seeing Danny Ocean as
a Salingeresque charcter.  I don't know.  Anybody else share in my
delusions?
