Hear hear. Although I have serious qualms about the closing down of the
Holden Server, as what it stood for and provided was good and just and
possibly Salinger/his lawyers Just Weren't Being Fair, I have even more
serious ones about deliberately offering a mid-finger salute to the man
(which I would do no matter whether I liked or respected the author or
not).

Please regard him as a human being rather than a loose, rather cartoonish
Lady-Shalottesque
construct of our own minds. Lets remember he's entitled to do what he does
and what's more, no one's entitled to mock someone for doing what they
believe is right.
