My name is Colby. I'm a student in Texas. I read CITR, and liked it very much. I'm now slowly reading Nine Stories. It's the reason I'm hoping to join this list. A Perfect Day For Banafish is strange, and I'm curious to know of other people's opinion(s). Did Seymour kill himself because he was sexually attracted to little girls and hated his abnormality? From reading it twice, it seems Salinger made it clear that Seymour was a nice guy. Sybil's swim suit was yellow. I thought Seymour was a bananafish after reading about the peculiar habits of a bananafish. The fish would search for yellow bananas. So, if Seymour was the bananafish, why would that be a perfect day?
