PS to Scottie

Scottie, it just occurred to me that you may be deliberately trying to
piss me off. Here, let me help you. You're going about it all wrong.

First, the Orlando Magic (pro basketball) have won, I think, five games
in a row, including games against the very tough Hawks and Rockets. They
killed their opponents in their last two games, Penny Hardaway scoring 23
points and Nick Anderson scoring 30 in last night's game.

Right now, you could slap me across the face and urinate in my shoes, and
I'd smile and say, Go Magic. Bad timing. Very bad timing.

Watch your basketball scores (you may need web access to do this) and
catch me at a time when the Magic lose. Make sure they lost by more than
5 points. That means they probably fell asleep in the third quarter and
couldn't rally in the fourth -- in short, that they didn't bother showing
up for the game.

THAT gets me in a bad mood every time.

EVERY TIME. See, I'm getting mad just thinking about it :)

THEN send me a .gif of Shaq hanging his tongue out and making some
obscene comment about Orlando fans (ooooo, oo take the money and run. .
.).

Now, once you've done your NBA research, when you're replying to my post,
PLEASE do what most people do who really piss me off and don't bother
reading it. I mean, yeah, read the words, but make an extra effort to
not understand them. It's gonna be hard for you, Scottie, but I think
you can do it. If you can somehow put words into my mouth, now, perhaps
even making me say the opposite of what I did say (authorial intent
notwithstanding -- not the opposite of what I "meant," but the opposite
of what I "said" :) ), being sure to do so with absolute confidence.

But as it is it's just not working. Your replies are too intelligent,
too subtle, too much like a nice move in a chess game. I appreciate them
too much to let them piss me off.

In short, ya gotta do worse than that :)

Love and kisses,

Jim
