AP is Advanced Placement, it means I get college credit for this Sr. High
school course I'm taking. But despite being in that class I really feel like
being in this discussion group is a bit like the neighborhood girl getting in
and playing basketball with the big boys. It's probably goning to help me in
the long run when it comes to actually writing and making observations but
for now, until I am more articulate or maybe just have a better vocabulary, I
will mainly read the posts and write little in the way of responces. I really
don't want to make a fool of myself and I have only just read Hamlet. Please
don't think I'm an idot if I ask a "dumb question."

To respond to the whole Whores of the Mother Lang. thing, this particular AP
teacher is one of the best I have ever had, she inspires her class to think
and create adn she dresses up in costume and conducts the Polonius School 'o
Spying every year for her students wherein we have some great adventures in
spying throughout our school. I'd nowlike to say something very clever, make
a metaphor for how little spelling actually counts but I'm not ready for a
thing like that.
